Tom has worked in the marketing industry for 10 years, running some of the most viral campaigns globally for various brands, including running a Bubble Football World Cup and being featured on TV and radio numerous times. With experience both on the agency and client side, Tom has since left to become a marketing consultant, as well as focusing on the marketing round table conference TakeItOffline and the Venue app DrinksPal, along with all of his affiliate brands and blogs.

Simon Butterworth

Simon joined Manchester Airports Group (MAG), the UK’s largest airports group, as VP Digital Marketing in July 2017. The Group serves 59 million passengers across three airports (Manchester, Stansted and East Midlands), which contributes £7.1 billion to the UK economy. He sits on the leadership team at the Group’s digital division, MAG-O, which was created with one driving mission; to create the world's most customer-centric and stress-free digital travel experience. Simon has led MAG-O through a period of digital transformation. After a phase of intense growth, hiring 40 digital marketers in 12 months, all digital acquisition channels are now managed and optimised in-house. This includes Paid Search, Organic Search, CRM, Affiliates, Display, Paid Social and Content Marketing. After the acquisition of two digital businesses, MAG-O is now entering its next exciting phase of growth as industry-leading platforms are deployed in airports internationally.

David Crawford has worked for the last 25 years in marketing and digital agencies of all shapes and sizes.  He was most recently Managing Director of Branded3, one of the UK’s leading search agencies, and has also held senior positions at McCann, BJL and twentysix.  He has worked directly with clients such as American Airlines, UPS and Bentley as well as help a couple of tech start-ups develop and deliver their digital & marketing strategies.  He now works with creative, digital and tech agencies as a Non-Exec Director, Board Advisor and Coach.

As senior director for corporate, brand and employee communications across EMEA for ServiceNow, Sam’s remit spans external engagement across press, analysts, industry influencers and customers, Brand and employee social programmes as well as its employee and executive programmes.

Sam built an extended network of agencies and independent experts across many EMEA markets to tell ServiceNow’s purpose-driven and human-led stories to position ServiceNow as a industry leader and disruptor as well as Forbes Most Innovative Company, May 2018. 

Sam joined ServiceNow in April 2016 following previous high-profile Communications Leadership roles at Oracle, Vodafone, Google and McAfee. Prior to his in-house career Sam held a number of senior management roles within leading Brand and Communication agencies

Jat Hayer

Jat Hayer has worked in b2b Technology Media for the last 12 years. His most recent position is the Vice President of Sales at TechTarget, a global leader in b2b Purchase Intent Data Services. As well as being responsible for the organization’s revenue across EMEA, he leads a team of specialists who work directly with media agencies and clients such as HPE, Google, Microsoft and Cisco to help design and deliver their digital marketing and sales strategies. Prior to joining TechTarget, Jat worked in Senior Sales Roles within The Reed Elsevier Group and CBS. Outside of Jat’s role at TechTarget he is a b2b Marketing Thought Leader appearing on various panels and as an Industry Keynote Speaker.  

Dermot Kelleher

Dermot is a multi-disciplined marketing professional with 17+ years’ experience driving customer acquisition and consumer awareness for digital businesses. In his current role at he leads a very talented team of 11 people with responsibility for all aspects of trade and consumer marketing including SEO and PPC, web analytics, eCRM, brand/product positioning, media planning and creative campaign execution - all driven by customer insight. 

Prior to, Dermot was in the digital strategy team at DMG Media, working with brands such as Jobsite,, Evening Standard, Metro and Teletext Holidays amongst others.

Outside of work, Dermot spends most of his time trying to persuade his two sons that they should become Spurs fans like him.

Stephen Knight

A former Advertising Executive, Brand & Marketing Director and CMO with 30 years sales and marketing experience. Stephen has held a variety of positions at major international agencies including Bates Dorland, Lowe Howard-Spink and WCRS. Five years with the Walt Disney Company latterly as Senior Vice-President of Marketing and Brand Management for Europe, Middle East and Africa. 

In 2003, he joined Creata, a global promotions agency, as their European MD where amongst other things he oversaw the McDonalds, Ferrari and Kellogg’s accounts.

Having worked successfully above and below the line, client and agency side, he felt it was time to do his own thing and founded Pimento in 2005, Europe’s largest virtual agency. From 2013-2016 Stephen extended his role at Pimento with interim contracts at SSE as Head of Brand, Marketing and CMO. In addition to his responsibilities at Pimento he is a NED of Ebico, a not-for-profit energy company and a trustee of its Charity.

Alexandra Lewis

Having been adamant that she would not follow in her dad’s footsteps into the insurance industry, Alex has now spent 15 years passionately communicating why the industry is exciting! 

As International Head of Marketing & Communications for leading reinsurance broker Aon, Alex is responsible for developing strategies and delivering thought-provoking campaigns. In practice, this is all about motivating colleagues and boosting engagement; developing and supporting growth initiatives by promoting innovative products; and building a differentiated brand in a competitive marketplace. 

With both agency and in-house experience, Alex’s skillset ranges from PR and international communications to events, digital and thought leadership, bringing these all together for integrated marketing campaigns.

Alex has spent nine years in the reinsurance realm at Aon and previously was Media Relations Manager for Aon UK and Marketing Executive at an insurance-specialist marcomms agency. 

She is a MCIPR, BA Journalism, Film & Broadcasting from the University of Cardiff and part of ‘PR Team of the Year 2016 and 2017’ at the Reactions Awards. 

Paul Morris

Paul has 20 years’ experience leading Marketing & Digital both Agency & Brand side.

Paul was previously Head of Marketing at Tesco Bank, global Digital Director at PZ Cussons (brands including St Tropez, Imperial Leather & Original Source), led Digital marketing at the Co-op Group (Food > Funeralcare) and has through the line experience of working both client and agency side with brands including Wickes, Laterooms, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Cash Generator, Stagecoach and Silverstone.

Donna Hayer (Pullen)

Donna begun her career in media ten years ago where she started out within the New Business team at OMD UK.  Since then, she has worked across a variety of fields within the industry including at Affilinet, where she specialised in Affiliate Marketing and planning and account management at Omnicom Media Group within their B2B Lead Generation and Affiliates team.  Following this, she made the transition from agency to sales where she has been specialising in Programmatic advertising ever since starting out as a Sales Manager at Trinity Mirror to currently overseeing Expedia's programmatic division across EMEA and APAC

Jehan Shah

Jehan has been at Google for 6 years and is an Agency Industry Head at Google. He is responsible for leading Google's relationship with key media agencies. He leads a team of specialists that cover all of Google's core disciplines across brand and performance marketing, also including platform strategy and business development.
He has spent 15 years in the advertising game working across a number of channels including: OOH, TV, Mobile, and Digital.
He lives in London with his lovely wife, two cute daughters, and hirsute dog.

Nick Wilsdon

Search Product Owner, Vodafone |

Nick has worked in digital marketing since 1998. Moving to Russia in 2003 he specialised in multilingual search and broadening his knowledge across digital channels, content and PR. During this time he contributed to the Russian digital startup community; working with Yandex, the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the US State Department. Returning to the UK in 2011, Nick then built and led marketing teams at Arena Media, Havas Media Group and the Dentsu Aegis Network. As the technical SEO lead at Vodafone Group since 2014, he has improved online performance and customer experience across 22 international markets. As an advocate for raising standards in online marketing, Nick judges the UK Search Awards and EU Search Awards. He enjoys speaking at conferences on the topics of mobile/data-first marketing, cross-channel campaigns and technical SEO. Outside work, he enjoys cycling and taking part in Prince’s Trust cycling events.
